Package Unit
Package unit refers to HVAC systems installed outside of buildings with no indoor air handlers, furnaces or other elements. Designed for buildings lacking sufficient attic and/or basement space, packaged units are connected to buildings, and deliver conditioned air, via duct work through the exterior wall. Package units come in a variety of configurations and can include all components of a complete HVAC home comfort system, including air conditioning, heating, humidity control, and air cleaning.
