Drain Line

Also known as a “condensate” drain line, the drain line helps remove water created by evaporator coil condensation, which falls into the drain pan. Drain lines are typically made of insulated PVC piping that runs from the air handling unit through an exterior wall to allow the moisture to drip outside of the house. Drain lines can sometimes get clogged due to buildup of mold, mildew or other debris, so Cool Zone includes HVAC drain line cleaning and clearing as part of its regular HVAC maintenance.
