Condenser Fan Motor

The condenser fan motor rotates a fan that moves air across the condensing coil, helping it release the refrigerant’s absorbed heat, with the resultant cooling allowing the hot, pressurized gas return to its liquid form and keep the heat transference process going. Because condenser fan motors are located in the outside condensing units, they are generally exposed to more wear and tear than most other HVAC parts and tend to need replacing more than other parts. If you find that your air conditioning unit blows cool air upon being turned on, but then warms to room temperature, the condenser fan motor is the likely source of the problem.
